More than 1,000 residents of Pembroke Hall, Drewsland, Marverly and surrounding communities in St Andrew are set to benefit from basic medical services under The World Alive Mission dubbed ‘One Love Health Fair and Crusade‘.

The services, which include general health, child care, dental, vision and counselling, will be provided free of cost by a team of over 30 medical practitioners starting today (October 6) to Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The three-day mission will be hosted by the Praise Power Celebration and New Destiny Fellowship, based in Delaware in collaboration with its local partner, Fellowship Tabernacle.

Residents are set to receive millions of dollars in free health care. The days of meeting the physical and medical needs of the people will be followed by nightly meetings of spiritual enrichment and encouragement at Fellowship Tabernacle located at 2 Fairfield Avenue, Kingston 20.

Accompanying the medical practitioners is a team of dynamic, anointed speakers from the USA including the renowned Bishop Jackie McCullough, Pastor Camille McKenzie and Prophet Rikardo Brown.

‘Live Love’ on the move

Fellowship Tabernacle’s participation in this health fair and crusade is an extension of its ongoing ‘Live Love’ campaign, which seeks to reach out to Jamaicans aiding and caring for their well-being. The Word Alive Mission has embraced worldwide evangelism by bringing medical, educational and spiritual enrichment with an emphasis on community revitalisation.

Following six successful mission trips in various locations in Jamaica between 1997 and 2018, Word Alive Mission and outreach ministry has provided support to close to 35,000 people in Jamaica with personalised medical and dental attention, eye examinations and eyeglasses, as well as non-perishable and prepared foods.

This is in addition to toiletries, backpacks, school supplies, and many other items, the organisation disclosed.

Pharmaceutical products and medical supplies and equipment were also imported and dispensed freely to both individuals and organisations in communities. It’s a mission of hope, serving many from our inner-city communities.  Community members are encouraged to come out early and register.
