Distressed digital media outfit iCreate has gone into receivership, just weeks after ousted CEO Tyrone Wilson controversially returned to the top post.

Well-known accountant Kenneth Tomlinson has been appointed the receiver.

This latest turn of events has caused even more eyebrows to be raised about the happenings at iCreate, where a cleaning of the post-Wilson management and board took place. Our Today reported on December 4 that with the removal of four directors two weeks ago, iCreate announced more organisational changes.

Interim CEO Arlene Martin was one of the four directors booted with the return of Wilson, who apparently cleaned house, having returned to the fold. She resigned as interim CEO and as director of Visual Vibe.Com.

She was joined by Ivan Carter, who resigned as director of Visual Vibe.Com and GetPaid Limited.

Wilson’s return to iCreate at its annual general meeting at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, which was accompanied by the removal of four directors from the company’s board. They include: Martin, Allen, Dainya-Joy Wint and Ivan Carter, along with the exit of Crichton Mullings & Associates as the company’s auditors.
