iCreate Limited yesterday announced it would begin hosting earnings calls as part of its quarterly reporting to shareholders.

The company indicated that this is a major move in building investor relations as it continues to build out the company.

“iCreate listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange, Junior Market as a start-up and we believe greater investor communication while keeping within the JSE rules is necessary,” said Tyrone Wilson, iCreate president & CEO.

“We have gone through a tough 2019 as our first year of listing on the JSE and have since turned that around in 2020. We have a long journey ahead of us and it is important to have informed shareholders so that they can be armed with  the right information when deciding to invest in iCreate.”

UNAUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

This news comes in the wake of many recent unaudited financial statements for quarter four and end of year report of the company. The results include:

  • 142.1% increase in revenues for the quarter when compared to the corresponding period in 2019.
  • 38% increase in revenues for the 12-month period ending Dec 31, 2020 when compared to the same period in 2019.
  • YTD Operating Profit of $2.6m, coming from losses of $32.5m at December 31, 2019
  • YTD Net Comprehensive Losses of $2.5m, coming from losses of $45.9m for the corresponding period ending December 31, 2019.

“We do not take lightly the decision of our shareholders to invest with us as there are other options available to them on the market. With that in mind, we want to ensure greater transparency in the company because building out a young listed company comes with a lot of work and at times turbulence and with that, keeping investors aware and informed is critical,” said Wilson.

The company stock price since the beginning of the year has risen 57.23 per cent.

The CEO explained that it has since communicated the decision to the Jamaica Stock Exchange Regulatory Oversight Market Division to make it aware and also promise to maintain close communication to ensure that the company stays within the rules and regulations of the stock exchange.

The earnings calls will be held via Zoom and the login information will be be via its Investor Relations page on iCreateEDU.com/Investor.
