Revellers lit up the streets of New Kingston at the GenXs Immortals J’ouvert Road March, a vibrant celebration that transformed the city into a living canvas of colour and rhythm.
Kicking off in the early hours at Liguanea Club, the parade made its lively way through Worthington Avenue, Trafalgar Road and Knutsford Boulevard, before culminating at Emancipation Park. Along the route, the pulsating energy of soca music fuelled the crowd, creating an unforgettable spectacle of movement, spirit and celebration.
Leading the revelry was soca powerhouse Bunji Garlin, who delivered an electrifying live performance that kept revellers in high spirits from start to finish. Clouds of powder, bursts of paint, and a sea of high-energy dancers filled the streets, capturing the essence of J’ouvert in full effect.
Key sponsors, including GenXS title sponsor Smirnoff, as well as Rumstripe, added their unique touch to the carnival chaos.
All partners brought their signature flair to the road and made their mark with an interactive presence that amplified the immersive experience. Together, the brands added an extra spark to the already dynamic affair, making this year’s Immortals J’ouvert a radiant and rhythmic addition to Carnival Saturday.
