Dolly Parton wants the world to know she’s alive, well, and still working harder than most.

The 79-year-old legend took to social media to clear the air after rumours began swirling about her health, with some even suggesting the worst. Filming a new Grand Ole Opry commercial in full Dolly glam, she addressed the speculation with her usual charm, brushing off the idea that she’s on her last legs.

The confusion started when her sister, Freida, shared a heartfelt message online, asking fans to pray for Dolly, saying she hadn’t been feeling her best. That, paired with Dolly’s recent decision to cancel a run of December shows in Las Vegas due to health issues, sent fans into a panic, especially following the recent passing of Dolly’s husband, which only added to the concern.

Dolly admitted she’s had some health bumps recently, but she’s far from down for the count. With a legacy that includes decades of chart-topping hits, sold-out shows, and beloved film roles, the ‘Jolene‘ icon reminded everyone she’s still very much in the game and not going anywhere just yet.
