Medical diagnostic company, Image Plus Consultants Limited has signed a partner, Ripton Real Estate Limited, for its 33 Lady Musgrave Road expansion facility in St Andrew, commonly referred to as the 33LMR facility.

Image Plus, which trades as Apex Radiology and is listed on the junior market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange, has signed a joint venture agreement with Ripton Real Estate Limited for building its new 20,000 sq. foot head office branch location at 33 Lady Musgrave Road. 

Image Plus has been scouting the real estate construction market for the last year for a partner of its planned 33LMR facility. Our Today reported two months ago that Image Plus is close to clinching a deal, which has now materialised.

The new complex is to be built on the property located across from the AC Marriott Hotel in New Kingston. Design for the new facility is awaiting regulatory approval with Image Plus set to embark on an aggressive schedule to make the new complex a reality by the end of its February 2026 financial year. 

We reported back in January this year that Image Plus is anticipating completion of legal agreements and work to begin on the project during the fourth quarter of its financial year, which ended last month. 

At its annual general meeting last July, CEO Kisha Anderson ruled out debt financing for the new complex, arguing that borrowing would be in the best interest of shareholders.

According to her, “(this) leaves us with two options; either a joint venture partnership or coming back to the market (for equity financing).”

In the meantime, Image Plus is advising of the appointment of Natalie McGlashan as patient experience manager effective March 3.
