The Independent Commission of Investigations, INDECOM, has launched a probe into the fatal shooting of 22-year-old Jamar Farquharson in Cherry Tree Lane, Clarendon.

It’s reported that Farquharson was shot and killed last week Monday after security forces entered his home in the community.

According to the police, the 22-year-old was killed after he pulled a firearm at them.

But Farquharson’s family has disputed the police’s version of events. They claim it was an extrajudicial killing.

A video of the incident has also been circulating on social media.
