The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) is probing the fatal shooting of an unidentified male in Gregory Park, St Catherine.
According to official reports, the man was fatally shot during a confrontation with the police along Track Road, Gregory Park, on Thursday morning.
A Taurus 9mm pistol, along with a magazine containing three 9mm rounds of ammunition, was seized at the scene.
The incident was also reported to the Inspectorate and Professional Standards Oversight Bureau (IPROB).
