Innovative Energy Group is announcing the appointment of Dr Conrad Miller as president and chief executive officer, effective April 14.

Dr Miller brings over two decades of experience in the energy sector, with a proven track record of leadership, innovation, and financial acumen. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration focusing on Strategy and Innovation, a master’s degree in engineering management, and an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer with the Professional Engineering Registration Board.

Previously, Dr Miller served as Director of Engineering Services, among other leadership roles at Jamaica Energy Partners, JB Ethanol and WINDALCO.

His visionary approach and commitment to sustainability are said to “align perfectly” with Innovative Energy Group’s mission to be a leader in the Renewable Energy sector in Jamaica and the region.

In his new role, Dr Miller will be responsible for steering the company’s strategic direction, fostering innovation, and driving operational excellence. This leadership transition aligns with IEG’s robust corporate governance and strategic succession planning. Outgoing CEO Mr. Nigel Davy will continue as Executive Chairman and focus on driving Business Development.
