Integrity Commission reports on Prime Minister Andrew Holness’s statutory declaration tabled in Parliament

An Integrity Commission investigation report in connection to Prime Minister Andrew Holness’s statutory declaration was tabled in Parliament today, September 17.

The report was tabled by House Clerk Colleen Lowe.

The report is in relation to the stautory declaration submitted by the Prime Minister for the years 2019-2022.

The investigation was in respect of concerns that he owns assets disproportionate to his lawful earnings and that he made false statements in his statutory declarations by way of omissions contrary to law.

The Integrity Commission’s indicative ruling was also tabled.

The Integrity Commission is one of the country’s anti-corruption agency, with a mission to achieve a corrupt-free society by preventing, detecting, investigating and prosecuting acts of corruption.
