Investigation Discovery (ID) has officially green-lit a new docuseries focused on Sean Combs, known as Diddy, following recent developments in his life.
The series, inspired by the creators of the documentary Quiet on Set, will explore Combs’ ascent during the 1990s and his subsequent decline, which has seen him facing serious allegations as late as 2024.
The news of the docuseries was announced just two days after Combs’ arrest on September 16, and the producers announced plans to focus on the musician’s alleged criminal activities. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the multipart series is scheduled for release in 2025, and reports indicate that production is already in progress.
Investigation Discovery noted in an Instagram post that the docuseries will explore Combs’ significant influence in the music industry while also addressing troubling accusations of violent behaviour and illegal conduct. Viewers can expect to hear testimonies from individuals claiming to have witnessed Diddy engaging in acts of violence, alongside interviews with friends and colleagues from his early career.
The docuseries will be made available on ID and Max.
