Global streaming sensation and digital creator IShowSpeed continued his Jamaican experience on Saturday with a curated visit to the North Coast, where he explored the island’s celebrated culinary culture during a stop at Miss T’s Kitchen.
The visit, facilitated by Jamaica Vacations Limited through Jamaica Cruising, followed Watkins’ highly publicised time in Kingston, where he immersed himself in authentic Jamaican culture, music, and lifestyle experiences that captivated millions of viewers across his global streaming platforms.
Though Saturday marked a more relaxed day away from live streaming for Watkins and his team, they opted to continue discovering Jamaica by travelling to Ocho Rios for an authentic taste of the island’s renowned food scene and vibrant atmosphere.
The experience was curated by the Executive Director of Jamaica Vacations, Joy Roberts, alongside members of the visiting delegation. During the stop, Watkins sampled several of the award-winning dishes that have helped establish Miss T’s Kitchen as one of Jamaica’s most recognised culinary destinations. The Honourable Tova Hamilton MP, State Minister in the Ministry of Tourism, also attended the visit.
For nearly two decades, Miss T’s Kitchen has become internationally recognised for its authentic Jamaican cuisine, including its signature oxtail and traditional island flavours. The restaurant has been featured in major international publications and media outlets, including The New York Times and NBC’s Today Show. Owner Anna-Kay Tomlinson said she was pleased “to represent Jamaica once again with food and love.”

The visit forms part of Jamaica Vacations’ ongoing efforts, through Jamaica Cruising, to leverage entertainment tourism and strategic influencer partnerships to showcase the depth and diversity of Jamaica’s tourism product while supporting local operators and businesses.
“Kingston delivered an incredible cultural experience for the team, and it was equally important for us to expose them to the flavours and atmosphere of the North Coast before they departed the island,” said Roberts. “Jamaica’s appeal extends far beyond its scenery. Our food, music, people, and energy are deeply connected to the visitor experience, and partnerships like these allow millions of people worldwide to experience Jamaica in a truly authentic way.”
Watkins has been documenting his time in Jamaica throughout his Caribbean tour, generating significant international digital exposure for the island across multiple platforms and introducing Jamaican culture and experiences to millions of viewers worldwide.
