KFC Jamaica has announced a new brand partnership with Andre Blake, Reggae Boyz star goalkeeper and captain, welcoming one of Jamaica’s most respected footballers as its newest member to the KFC brand family.
Through the partnership, Blake will serve as the face of KFC’s 2026 Summer World Cup campaign. KFC will also support outreach initiatives to be undertaken by Blake through his foundation, further extending the partnership beyond the campaign and into areas focused on youth development, empowerment, and community impact.
Blake joins a distinguished group of Jamaican sporting talent that has been featured in previous KFC campaigns, including Leon Bailey, Khadija “Bunny” Shaw and Jaydon Hibbert. His addition brings another respected Jamaican athlete into the brand’s roster of ambassadors and strengthens KFC’s connection to national sporting moments that continue to unite and inspire Jamaicans.
As captain and goalkeeper of the Reggae Boyz, Blake has been one of the most consistent leaders in Jamaica’s national football programme, representing the country with distinction across major regional and international competitions. Widely regarded as a key figure in modern Jamaican football, he has made six Concacaf Gold Cup appearances and helped lead Jamaica to the finals in 2015 and 2017. In 2017, his performances earned him the Golden Glove award.
Outside of the national team, Blake is a key member of the Philadelphia Union squad in U.S. Major League Soccer, where he has built a decorated professional career. He was the first goalkeeper selected as the number one overall pick in the MLS SuperDraft and has earned multiple MLS Goalkeeper of the Year honours, further cementing his reputation as one of the top goalkeepers in the league.
Speaking on the partnership, Andrei Roper, Marketing Manager, KFC Jamaica, said Blake represents the values and spirit that continue to define the KFC brand.
“Andre Blake is a true reflection of excellence, discipline and national pride. He has represented Jamaica with distinction, carried himself with humility and professionalism, and consistently shown what it means to lead at the highest level,” said Roper. “For KFC, this partnership is about more than working with a great athlete. It is about aligning with someone whose values, work ethic and impact reflect the very best of what our brand stands for.”
Roper added that Blake’s leadership, consistency and connection to Jamaica made him a natural fit for the partnership.
“KFC has always celebrated the energy, passion and pride that bring Jamaicans together, and are proud to partner with ambassadors who reflect those qualities. Andre is a formidable player, but he is also a role model. He shows up for his sport, for his country and for the next generation, and that makes him exactly the kind of partner we are proud to have standing with the brand,” Roper said.
For Blake, joining KFC is a proud moment and an opportunity to connect with Jamaicans beyond the pitch.
“KFC is a brand that has always been part of my household and a big part of Jamaican culture, so I’m excited to be on board,” said Blake. “Throughout my career, representing Jamaica has always meant a lot to me, whether it’s wearing the national colours, playing professionally, or supporting others through my foundation. This partnership with KFC gives me another opportunity to connect with fans and continue making a positive impact across Jamaica.”
