We have all heard the popular sayings “You are as young as you feel” and “Age is just a number”, but did you know that there is an actual day that is dubbed ‘As Young as You Feel Day’ that is commemorated on March 22 of each year?
Yes, you probably didn’t get the memo but, As Young as You Feel Day is designated to letting your hair down and having fun without the fear of being judged because of your age.
Having fun can be restrictive for many people, especially elderly or middle-aged persons due to their inhibitions around what adulthood should look like.
Thomas and Ruth Roy, of Wellcat Holidays and Herbs, founded the day to encourage people to live life according to the way they feel instead of focusing on what activities may or may not be age-appropriate.
