Popular social media comedian Jaii Frais is now buzzing for all the wrong reasons after fumbling in an interview with dancehall’s darling Shenseea on his podcast, Let’s Be Honest.

With such a title, the public has come to expect the content on the platform to be bold and direct while striking an unbiased balance as much as possible. Up till recently, this was the case on Let’s Be Honest.

The Achilles heel of the otherwise apathetic host was Shenseea, who had Jaii blushing and dodging accountability after previously referring to the female singjay as a flop. Some of his subscribers have commented, ridiculing the host’s energy during the interview for being too soft on her and playing down what he meant when he called her a flop.

“The context weh mi did a say it inna, was that you neva meet the expectation of what we [Jamaicans] expect you to meet,” Jaii clarified during the interview when pressed by Shenseea.

A smiling Shenseea responded in kind, stating that she feels ‘honoured’ that Jaii feels so strongly about her making it bigger in the USA.

Many are wondering if the host felt intimidated by the Hit and Run singer, since his overall tone and demeanour were less forceful than usual and indirect when compared to previous podcast episodes in which he vehemently declared the Blessed singer a flop.

Still, it was good to see Shenseea as she promoted her new single with Masicka, produced by Stephen ‘Di Genius’ McGregor Hit and Run, which debuted at the number one spot on the Reggae Itunes video chart.
