While the music was pumping at the height of Carnival morning, somehow the entire band was forced to pause its road march on Worthington Avenue in Kingston due to Xodus’ and Yardmas’ bands crossing their route on Trafalgar Road.

For a pause that was for over an hour, the music kept pumping and the energy stayed high at the opening of Worthington Avenue.

Stefanie, a Jamaican reveller in the Drakonus section said, “It wasn’t my favourite experience but they definitely made the most out of it, the DJs kept pushing and I respected that, hopefully, the vibes stay up from there.”
