Raised in Jamaica, United States-resident teenager Rynola Fraser, who recently created history as her New York high school’s first black female intern at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), is the leading star in a stacked guest line-up on next Sunday’s episode of the hit TVJ talk show, Rolling with Deiwght Peters.

A proud former Glenmuir High student, hailing from Lionel Town in Clarendon, Fraser now attends Martin Van Buren High in Queens, New York and was shortlisted from thousands of adolescent applicants for the much-coveted NASA internship. 

The 16-year-old, who has career ambitions of becoming either a research scientist or lawyer, shares her thoughts with Peters on how her island upbringing has influenced her academic excellence in The Big Apple. 

Keeping on-trend with the celebration of Child Month in May, Peters will also welcome a charismatic group of fiercely opinionated five- and six-year-olds for a Zoom chat on how they have adapted to the COVID-19 pandemic at home. 

“The future of the world lies in our young people, and I wanted to positively highlight Jamaican children on a youth-centric show,” Peters shared.

To this end, he added, “from shining the spotlight on the brilliant Rynola, who is flying the Jamaican flag so exceptionally with plans to head to Columbia or New York universities, or the cute astute articulations of pre-schoolers, it was a delight to hear and see that hope still floats for a better tomorrow for the next generation”.

Also appearing on Sunday’s episode is SAINT International breakout male model, Aakesh Henderson. The part-time fisherman from Old Harbour Bay, who was scouted by SAINT CEO Deiwght Peters while enrolled at Cumberland High in 2016, made his global debut two years later as an exclusive model directly booked from Jamaica for luxury French fashion house Balenciaga’s runway show in Paris. 

Henderson is currently starring in the international advertising campaign for the co-branded Adidas and Wales Bonner Spring/Summer 2021 limited-edition collection alongside fellow Saints Selah McHail, Lawrence and Tash Osheare that was shot in Jamaica earlier this year.
