Hours after KFC Jamaica announced service disruptions due to supply constraints, Best Dressed Chicken, a subsidiary of the Jamaica Broilers Group, sought to assure the wider public there is no shortage of locally produced poultry on the island.
In an Instagram post on Friday (February 4), Best Dressed, addressing any perceived availability concerns, chalked up the matter as a ‘lagging logistical upgrade’.
“Rest assured there is no shortage of [chicken] products or of poultry in general,” the company declared.
Meanwhile, a timeline for the completion of Best Dressed Chicken system improvisation was not immediately revealed.

“We are upgrading our systems in order to offer even better service to our customers. Regrettably, there will be some temporary dislocation resulting in some customers temporarily receiving reduced quantities of your favourite products. Rest assured there is no shortage of products or of poultry in general.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this in the shortest possible timeframe.”
Popular fast-food franchise KFC Jamaica, in its public announcement yesterday, said that customers should brace for the likelihood of certain meals not being available, due to issues with Jamaica Broilers, its sole distributor.
Triggering mixed reactions on social media, KFC added that while it was working to remedy the unforeseen challenges, it craved understanding from chicken lovers as the situation was “out of our control”.
