The Jamaica Customs Agency (JCA) says full operation will resume at all its air and sea ports, as well as its corporate offices, on Friday, July 5.

This follows the passage of Hurricane Beryl on Wednesday, July 3, which forced several business and government entities to shutter their doors.

Hurricane Beryl made landfall on the island on Wednesday, July 3, bringing life-threatening storm surges and destructive winds.

Customers will now be able to conduct transactions at the JCA’s locations commencing Friday.

The agency also advised that customers can request its contactless clearance process for non-commercial shipments and likewise use its mobile app, JaCustoms Connect, to make payments.
