The Jamaica Electric Vehicle Association (JEVA) has partnered with Evergo Jamaica to sponsor the upcoming EV Link Up to be held on the afternoon of Saturday, September 7 at LFA Country Store in Richmond, St Ann.

EV Link Up is hosted by Evergo and held annually in celebration of World EV Day. It attracts businesses contributing to the emerging electric vehicle (EV) industry in Jamaica, as well as EV owners and enthusiasts.

“It’s an event for people who love cars. Fast, electric cars in particular; and it’s an event for people who are excited about Jamaica’s adoption of technology that enables a more sustainable, prosperous and energy independent future,” noted recently installed JEVA President Oliver Hill.

“We’re pleased to support EV Link Up and grateful to Evergo for hosting it year after year. Participating in this kind of event is central to our mission at the electric vehicle association, he added.

Hill praised Wayne McKenzie, the CEO of Evergo Jamaica, and his team for creating a space where Jamaicans from all walks of life can experience the advantages of EVs first-hand, fostering even more appreciation and adoption of the vehicles.

Several JEVA members, including ATL Motors, Stewart Motors and Tropical Mobility, are also sponsoring EV Link Up, and will display their vehicles and share information on their products and services.
