The Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO) is showcasing the resilience of local businesses as a part of the UK Trade Partnership (UKTP) trade mission hosted in the United Kingdom.
The mission aims to drive export-led investment initiatives for the global digital services sector with a goal to forge partnerships and expand Jamaica’s footprint in the global digital economy.
The 18-member Jamaican business delegation from the IT and global digital services (GDS) industry left Jamaica on November 10th, 2025, and was in London until November 14, 2025. The initiative is a part of the comprehensive UKTP Programme, which is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), executed by the International Trade Centre (ITC), and supported by the Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO) European Regional Office.
The delegation comprised ten (10) firms selected by the ITC within the sector: Adtelligent Limited, Advantum, Innovate 10x, MC Systems, Niritech, Resolve IT, Shift Left Ltd, Software Architects, ThinkNChange, and VLBPO LLC. Seven (7) of the firms are participants in JAMPRO’s Flagship Export Max Programme.
The mission offers UK firms a practical, low-risk opportunity to expand capabilities and build international partnerships with trusted Jamaican providers.
“We welcome the continued partnership of the UK in the creation of new business opportunities for Jamaican technology firms and look forward to our companies showing the world that Jamaica is still very much open for business,” stated Investment Minister Aubyn Hill.
“This mission, which brings our tech companies into the UK markets for the second time this year, underscores Jamaica’s growing strength and competitiveness as a global digital services hub. Our Jamaican companies combine technical excellence with adaptability and a partnership mindset, offering UK businesses a trusted and cost-effective way to scale their operations while maintaining quality and compliance,” JAMPRO president Shullette Cox said.
The Jamaican companies are advantageously positioned to deliver cost-effective, high-quality digital solutions with real-time collaboration enabled by time-zone alignment, compliance-ready operations (UK-GDPR and ISO standards), and flexible engagement models across software development, cloud computing, cybersecurity, customer experience, and managed IT services.

Business-to-business meetings and targeted matchmaking sessions were organised by JAMPRO’s European regional office in central London to connect the delegation with potential UK business partners.
Laurence Jones, manager for JAMPRO’s European regional office, shared, “UK SMEs tell us they need reliable, right-sized digital partners. Jamaica’s GDS firms are agile, quality-focused, and culturally aligned—ready to deliver measurable outcomes quickly.”
