Head of the Jamaica Teas Manufacturing Division, Dianna Blake-Bennett, has resigned having been in the post for nearly two years.
Her resignation is effective September 30. In the meantime, Jamaica Teas CEO John Mahfood will assume direct responsibility for the Manufacturing Division.
He will be supported by newly promoted deputy general managers, Jonathon Mahfood and Charles Barrett. Jamaica Teas has hailed Blake-Bennett, saying she served the company well during her tenure and was instrumental in several operational changes.
Jamaica Teas says it wishes Blake-Bennet well in her future endeavours.
Blake-Bennet joined Jamaica Teas in November 2021, having resigned from Salada Foods, where she served as its first female general manager. This is after being appointed to the role on January 4, 2017, after acting as general manager from September 2016.
