Jamaica has just been selected to host next year’s staging of the Caribbean Travel Marketplace.
The second city of Montego Bay has been selected with the Montego Bay Convention Center being the host venue. The announcement was made earlier today at the 2023 staging of the event now on in Barbados at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.
The conference, which got underway yesterday, ends tomorrow. The host venue, the Montego Bay Convention Center was voted Jamaica’s Best Convention Centre 2022 at World Mice Awards.
Jamaica’s Tourism Minister, Edmund Bartlett, who is attending the event responded, “we are delighted” to be hosting the event in 2024. Jamaica last hosted the event in January 2019, where the island welcomed a large contingent of Chinese travel buyers.

Twenty companies were joined by more than 1,000 delegates registered for what many regarded as a dynamic edition of Caribbean Travel Market.
At that staging close to 60 new buyer companies – from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, India, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Poland, Puerto Rico, St. Vincent & The Grenadines, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States were confirmed for the top travel event.
They were joined by about 80 returning buyer companies.
