
Frontier makes inaugural flight to Montego Bay from Dallas Fort Worth

As Jamaica continues to build out its air connectivity, the much sought after tourism destination has welcomed a new air service from Dallas Fort Worth to the resort city of Montego Bay.
The destination continues to expand ease of access to the island for American travelers with Frontier Airlines opening up a new route from Dallas Fort Worth to Montego Bay on Monday. Frontier Airlines will operate the non-stop flight from Dallas Fort Worth to Montego Bay three times weekly.
With the addition of this new service, the carrier now serves 10 routes from the U.S. to Jamaica, from Atlanta and Miami to Kingston and from Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Miami, Orlando, Philadelphia, and St. Louis to Montego Bay. Commenting on the move, Tourism Minister, Edmund Bartlett responded, “We are very pleased to continue expanding our partnership with Frontier Airlines…The launch of this new non-stop flight from a key Southern U.S. gateway supports the strong rebound of Jamaica’s tourism sector as we are returning visitor arrivals numbers to pre-pandemic growth levels.”

For his part Director of Tourism, Donovan White commented, “it is gratifying to welcome another non-stop flight to our island by Frontier. It is an important addition to our existing air service that provides U.S. travellers with yet another convenient option to get to the island…Our recent growth in Jamaica is unparalleled.”
Senior Vice President of Commercial, Frontier Airlines Daniel Shurz was equally pleased with this new route opening up saying, “We’re thrilled to provide an opportunity for more people to enjoy this tropical paradise.”
