Jamaican broadcaster Ragashanti attains law degree

Controversial radio personality, Kingsley ‘Ragashanti’ Stewart attained a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law on Saturday (May 20).

In an Instagram post on Monday (May 22), Stewart said that: “After three gruelling years of full-time study at Fordham University School of Law…I am a lawyer.”

A Juris Doctor degree is a graduate-entry professional degree in law that provides students with the practical skills and knowledge to become a practising lawyer in the United States.

The Juris Doctor does not provide students with a license to practice law but is required for individuals planning to sit the bar exams.

“Just my same journey, with new roads…..Same Ragabook, with a new chapter…same tree…got rid of old branches…sprouting new ones…. Laugh, Learn and Grow. Always a Win. Congratulations also came pouring in on social media following Stewart’s announcement on Monday.

Ragashanti, who has been dubbed as the ‘King Of Mixup’ is popularly known for hosting talk shows such as Ragashanti Live and TamFam Tv.
