The Consulate General of Jamaica in New York partnered with Jamaica Mountain Peak Coffee to celebrate Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Day on Monday (January 9) by treating over 100 coffee lovers to a wide range of coffee products.
Christopher Benjamin, community relations officer at the Consulate General of Jamaica, said the celebration was well received by staff and other persons who visited the Consulate.
“The staff and visitors to the Consulate were very appreciative of the celebration and the special treat (Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee) was especially well-received. The Consulate also opened the coffee sampling, not only to its clients but also to every person that visited the building in which the consulate resided. It was a fantastic display of Jamaican pride and love,” he said.
