Jamaican cybersecurity firm Symptai Consulting Limited has announced that it has launched a webinar series intended to bring greater awareness and expertise in the area of cyber security.

The webinar, themed ‘Integrated Security for Software Development and Advanced Penetration Testing’, targets information technology professionals across multiple industries.

Rory Ebanks, director of cybersecurity at Symptai Consulting Limited, said: “Everybody has a role to play. The company has done extensive research in the area of cyber and internet security and concluded that, with the increasing wave of software supply chain attacks, it would be prudent for companies exploring digital transformation to embed security into their design and development lifecycles.

In the first seminar, taking place today (March 15), themes such as ‘How to Shift Security Left’, ‘the Benefits of a DevSecOps Model’, ‘Practising ongoing security versus static testing’ and ‘Advanced Penetration Testing for applicable systems and networks’, will be explored. Several case studies will also be shared.
