American actor Jamie Foxx on Wednesday (May 3) responded to growing concern from fans and well-wishers after he remains hospitalised for a third week running.

In a succinct Instagram post, the Project Power actor said that he ” Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed.”

The post from the Ray actor comes after relatives close to Foxx shared earlier that he needs all the prayers and well wishes that his fans could give.

The entertainer fell ill with a mysterious “medical complication” in mid-April and is since said to be on the mend at an undisclosed facility in Georgia.

According to recent reports, Foxx was in Atlanta to film his latest project Back in Action when he fell ill.

Foxx is popularly known for appearing in films such as Collateral, Django Unchained, Ray and Dreamgirls.
