The new multimillion-dollar Jamwest Motorsports and Adventure Park, now under construction at Braco in Trelawny, is set to open by the end of the year.
“We’re looking to open before the winter season starts; that’s the aim,” marketing manager Taneisha James-Francis shared with Our Today on the floor of Jamaica Product Exchange 2025 held at the Montego Bay Convention Centre from September 22 to 24.
Jamwest began construction of its Braco property over a year ago, in August 2024. Steering clear of revealing the actual cost of construction, James-Francis said the new adventure park will have similar amenities to the original Jamwest Motorsports and Adventure Park in Negril, Westmoreland.
“We’re actually going to be operating in two spaces. So over where the park is, we have the land opportunities like the ATV, the ziplining, and then across the road over where the beach is, we’re going to be operating the horseback riding and swim portion of the tour,” the marketing manager shared.
“The clients will check in over by the park area, and then they’ll be placed in safari trucks, and they’re going to be taken across the road to do their horseback riding and swim experience. So we’re actually going to be occupying two spaces there,” she reiterated.

James-Francis said that there are new elements that the company will add to the Braco location, but cannot divulge what they are prior to the official opening of the attraction, but guarantees that the surprises will be “epic”.
The company will also incorporate a space for sampling Jamaican fare at the new location, which James-Francis said will be more central as it will be situated between the tourist hotspots of Montego Bay and Ocho Rios.
The addition of Jamwest Motorsports and Adventure Park will further enhance the offerings of Trelawny, which is slowly carving out its niche as a tourism market. Alongside several all-inclusive resorts, Trelawny also boasts the Falmouth cruise pier and artisan village, Glistening Waters boat tour, and Chukka Caribbean’s Good Hope.

When asked how the attraction will compete with already established attractions with similar offerings, James-Francis pointed out that while prices for activities are comparable, Jamwest will differentiate itself with exceptional service.
“Well, service is everything, and what we aim to do is to ensure that the clients that are coming to our property—they are getting value for their money. The value proposition—that’s what we’re offering them when we’re collecting their cash, when they actually visit our property, for the duration of the tours, the service, the attentiveness of our guides,” she told Our Today.
Moreover, the marketing manager said that ensuring that the service level at both properties will set the Jamwest brand apart.
Responding to a question of further expansion, she noted, “Well, based on the direction that the company is heading in, our aim is to ensure that wherever we are, we don’t want to spread ourselves too thin, and then, you know, wherever we’re occupying, we want to ensure that whatever product is being offered, that it is perfected.”
Jamwest Motorsports and Adventure Park also operates a catamaran business at its beach club in Negril.
