Jamaica Business Development Centre (JBDC) will host two series of workshops next month for potential and practising entrepreneurs.

The government agency will provide training sessions in Fundamentals of Business on Tuesdays and Starting a Business on Thursdays in August.

“The Fundamental of Business workshop, which is designed especially for start-up entrepreneurs, will explore modules including the Entrepreneurial Mindset, Business Formalisation, Design Thinking & Value Proposition, Marketing Fundamentals and Product/Service costing & Start-up costs,” JBDC outlined.

Sessions for the workshop will commence on August 13 and conclude on 3, 2024.

Training sessions for Starting a Business will commence on Thursday, August 15 and run through August 22 and 29, ending on September 5, 2024.

Topics for that workshop will include the Lean Start-up model, Product Development & Design, Marketing Essentials, Budgeting and Recordkeeping.

Starting a Business is is geared towards entrepreneurs already in business.
