Jamaica College and Hydel High grab pole positions following the second set of quarter-final games in the ISSA Digicel Manning Cup on Tuesday as Mona High suffered a shock defeat to Tivoli Gardens.

JC, which drew 1-1 with Mona last week, moved top of Zone A with four points, with KC dropping to second spot on three points, the same as Tivoli Gardens in the third spot based on goal difference.

The defending champion Mona High suffered their first loss of the season crashing 1-3 to Tivoli Gardens and are rooted to the bottom of the group with a point.

So, Zone A looks like this:

  • JC (4pts),
  • KC (3 pts)
  • Tivoli Gardens (3 pts)
  • Mona High (1 pt).

On Friday, JC will play Tivoli Gardens at JC, while KC and Mona face off at Stadium East with the top two teams advancing to the semi-final and by extension the all-island Champions Cup.

Campion College rekindled their hopes of reaching the semis by dismissing Excelsior High 2-0 and moved to three points. Excelsior are at the bottom with a point.

So, Zone B looks like this:

  • Hydel High (4 pts)
  • St Catherine (3 pts)
