Marks foray into the new car industry

Used car dealership, Jetcon Corporation has been appointed sole distributor for Beijing Automotive Industry Company (BAIC) passenger vehicles in Jamaica.
This sole distributorship will cover the marketing, sales, servicing and parts supply of these brands of vehicles and will officially mark Jeton’s foray into the new car Industry.
Chairman and CEO of Jetcon, Andrew Jackson is pleased about the recent developments saying, “We have been working on this dealership for about two years and we are very happy to see it coming to fruition.”
He says this will bring great value to staff, customers and shareholders as Jetcon expands and diversifies its business. The new 2025 Beijing X55 compact SUV and the 2025 BAIC BJ40 offroad vehicle, are among those being sold in Jamaica by Jetcon.
Jetcon was established in Jamaica in 1991 and has been a leader in the automobile industry locally. In 2016 Jetcon became and remains the only auto dealer listed on the Jamaica stock exchange. Over the past 33 years, Jetcon has distinguished itself for its high-quality service and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
BAIC is one of the largest auto manufacturers in China. Founded in 1958, it produces passenger, commercial, and military vehicles. BAIC owns several brands such as Foton, Beijing, Senova and Arcfox, and has partnerships with Mercedes Benz and Hyundai to manufacture cars for the Chinese market.
Listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, BAIC exports to over 80 countries. Jetcon started importing BAIC vehicles in 2023 and has conducted several tests of these cars in the Jamaican environment, going through the hills and valleys, and has found them reliable and robust.
The eye-catching designs of the interior and exterior add to the attractiveness of the fleet.
