The Jamaica Labour Party congratulated Dr Godwin Friday and the New Democratic Party on their hard-fought and well-executed campaign, which has resulted in a decisive victory in the General Elections in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

“This outcome reflects the clear will of the Vincentian people, and showcases Caribbean democratic traditions,” the JLP said in a statement.

The Labour Party government also expressed that Jamaica looks forward to deepening its strong partnership with St Vincent and the Grenadines, while aiming to advance the shared priorities of the Caribbean Community, strengthening regional integration, enhancing climate resilience, and expanding opportunities for people.

“We again congratulate Dr Friday and the NDP and extend best wishes for a successful term of service to the people of St Vincent and the Grenadines,” the JLP said.
