Marking a significant milestone in its ever-expanding footprint in the Caribbean, the JMMB Group launched its newest subsidiary, JMMB International Limited at the Hastings Business Centre, in Barbados on Tuesday (March 5).

The Jamaica-based financial conglomerate will stand as the foundation of JMMB International’s commitment to excellent client care. With a strong presence in the region, JMMB Group has established itself as a trusted financial partner, embodying integrity, innovation, collaboration and client-centric values.

The event commenced with opening remarks from Dennis Harris, chairman of JMMB International, who emphasised the company’s commitment to leveraging partnerships in the Caribbean for mutual success. He underscored the immense potential the region holds and highlighted the strategic vision behind establishing a regional presence. Over its 31 years of existence, the JMMB Group has steadily expanded its financial services business lines across Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and, now, Barbados.

Michael Jordan, executive director & head of business development, expressed his excitement about the opportunity to serve his beloved country, Barbados. He outlined the company’s initial focus on delivering tailored investment solutions to various entities and high-net-worth individuals, including JMMB International Access, an online international brokerage service.

Tricia Kissoon, CEO of JMMB International, echoed similar sentiments as Harris and Jordan, while expressing heartfelt gratitude to the attendees, which largely included key members of large institutions, selected corporate clients and government officials, at the ceremonial ribbon-cutting. She emphasised the significance of their support and enthusiasm in making the event truly memorable.

The new office represents more than just a physical space; it symbolises JMMB International’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and serving the community.

The JMMB International offices are located on the second floor of the Hastings Business Centre in Christ Church parish.
