The JMMB Joan Duncan Foundation recently partnered with the Kiwanis Club of Young Professionals Kingston in donating J$100,000 to the Women’s Centre Foundation of Jamaica’s scholarship fund.
The foundation, in a statement, indicated that the donation will go towards supporting adolescent mothers at that institution—in keeping with the United Nations’ theme for International Women’s Day ‘Invest in women: Accelerate progress’, celebrated on March 8.
The occasion was a signature IWD event organised by the club to help empower and inspire adolescent mothers by providing career development and mental health pointers.

The donation is a part of the JMMB Joan Duncan Foundation’s mandate to support youth through educational development and vulnerable individuals.

The foundation has donated over J$10 million in scholarships in the last year to secondary and tertiary students.
