JMMB Group effects change in executive leadership

JMMB Group is announcing the appointment of Christopher Walker, who takes the helm as chief executive officer of JMMB Investments Limited, effective April 1.

Walker was formerly CEO of JMMB Fund Managers Limited and group fund operations oversight manager, according to the regional financial house indicated.

He will now oversee equities, fixed income, and fund management within the group.

Walker has over 28 years of experience in the financial sector. His qualifications include a BSc in management and economics from the University of the West Indies, an investment manager designation from the Canadian Securities Institute and a Master’s degree in business administration from the University of Liverpool.

The JMMB team says it looks forward to his continued valuable contribution.

In the meantime, Keisha Forbes will continue as chief country officer for Jamaica while Keith Duncan remains JMMB Group CEO.
