Following the launch of One Great Studio’s IPO, JMMB has forged a new alliance.
The regional finance house formed by Joan Duncan is now collaborating with Barita Investments Limited to serve as a selling agent for this IPO.
Alana Lawrence, who affixed her signature to the agreement today, emphasised that this strategic step will undoubtedly open up a multitude of opportunities for their clients. In a statement of support, Terise Kettle, senior vice-president of Barita, expressed her satisfaction with JMMB’s decision.

She underscored the significance of the IPO as a catalyst for 1GS’s expansion, ushering in innovation and transformative potential. The IPO encompasses 169,313,720 ordinary shares, readily accessible to the general public, alongside 169,313,719 reserved shares earmarked for key strategic partners and dedicated 1GS team members. All these shares are priced at J$1.00 per share. The company has laid out plans to subsequently seek a listing for its ordinary shares, including the subscription shares, on the Junior Market of the JSE.
