JMMB Money Transfer expands remittance business with Viamericas partnership

JMMB Money Transfer is expanding its remittance services through a partnership with Viamericas.

Through Viamericas, Jamaicans can receive remittances from the United States and Canada services from over 100 JMMB Money Transfer agent payout locations across Jamaica.

Welcoming the partnership, CEO of JMMB Money Transfer Sharon Gibson noted, “This collaboration enhances financial inclusion by providing more accessible and convenient options for Jamaicans. Our shared commitment to serving the community will enable families to receive vital financial support with greater ease and security.”

Viamericas is a licensed money transmitter that provides international money transfers, bill payments, check processing, and top-up services at thousands of agent locations across the United States. Founded in 1999, Viamericas is headquartered in Coral Gables, Florida, with an office in Los Angeles, California, and operational centres in Mexico, Colombia, and the Philippines.

The company has a network of over 285,000 locations in 95 countries, including throughout Latin America, India, Africa and the Philippines.
