The Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club (JMMC) proudly congratulates Jayden Harrison on his outstanding achievement of Second Overall at the inaugural North American Esports Championship, a landmark continental motorsport esports event sanctioned under the FIA framework.

Representing Team Jamaica after the widespread national disruption caused by the after-effects of Hurricane Melissa, Harrison delivered a composed and highly competitive performance throughout the Championship. The on-site finals, held on November 15, 2025, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, brought together 12 of the region’s top esports drivers representing FIA Member ASNs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.

The Championship was contested in the Esports Formula 4 category on the iRacing platform, using the official FIA Formula 4 virtual car. All finalists competed on identical simulators under uniform technical and sporting conditions, with results determined through a combination of online qualifying phases and an on-site Grand Final.

Across the multi-race finals format, Harrison quickly established himself among the front runners. He consistently challenged for leading positions and secured a victory during the preliminary phase, confirming his pace and racecraft against a highly competitive field.

Entering the decisive Grand Final level on points with the host nation’s leading contender, Harrison maintained relentless pressure in a fiercely contested showdown. Although a time penalty briefly relegated him to third position, he responded with determination and composure to recover and secure second place overall, finishing just shy of the Championship win.

The North American Esports Championship is governed by the Federación Dominicana de Automovilismo (FDA), acting as the FIA-recognized National Sporting Authority, and comprises multiple sporting phases including online pre-qualifiers, official qualifying rounds, and an on-site Grand Final. The top three finishers were awarded trophies and official recognition by the Organizing Entity and its partners.

Jayden Harrison’s podium finish represents a significant milestone for Jamaican motorsport, highlighting the country’s growing presence and competitiveness in the rapidly evolving field of FIA-sanctioned esports competition.

The JMMC commends Jayden Harrison for his professionalism, resilience, and exemplary representation of Jamaica on the continental stage, and looks forward to his continued success in both virtual and traditional motorsport arenas.
