Trouble ensued at Freedom Street as Popcaan and Chronic Law faced issues entering the venue, which resulted in both artistes dissing the event promoters, Joe Bogdanovich and Skatta Burrell.

Earlier in the show Vybz Kartel got news that Popcaan and Chronic Law had issues entering the venue. The Fever artiste urged the police to let them enter mid-performance. When the two did gain entry and landed on stage, Popcaan said: “Skatta s*ck yuh mada yute! If a neva Kartel mi guh a mi yard…Wah mek unuh have mi and Chronic Law outta door fi three hours? A wah mek unuh a hold down the native dem? Don’t do that to wi yute!”

Afterwards, Chronic Law added, “Wi deh yasso fi Vybz Kartel, mi a talk straight. Mi nuh deh ya suh fi nuh white boy or nuh rasta boy. Mi a bad man mi nuh like people… Skatta behave, yuh hear? Joe? Behave yuh b*mb*cl**t self. Wi deh yah fi Vybz Kartel; wi nuh deh ya fi unuh, p**y!”

The crowd was heated in support of the two as they lamented the ordeal while performing and celebrating Vybz Kartel.

It seems even Bounty Killer also faced issues entering the venue as Kartel stopped his performance to beseech the officers to let him in.

“The peace officer dem, please let in Bounty,” Kartel said. “Please and thanks! Mi general dem out deh so; let in Mr Price…let in mi fada.”

Though the reason the artistes had issues entering the venue was unclear, fans were happy to see their two favourites performing at the highly anticipated event.
