Growing up in the influential Unruly Camp, Joel has been inspired by his mother, uncle, and Grammy Award-winning producer Notnice, who is the father of his younger brother.

Their careers have been recognised on the music landscape. Now, he is ready to make his own impact with a fresh and compelling sound.

Reflecting on his journey, Joel shared:, “Growing up in the Unruly Camp has been a unique and inspiring experience. My mom and uncle have been my biggest influences. My uncle’s dedication and passion for music has always motivated me. With ‘Immigrant,’ I wanted to create something that resonates with Jamaicans and regional citizens living abroad. It’s a song about our experiences and the stories that connect us. I’m also incredibly excited to collaborate with other local artists and continue to grow as a producer.”

“Immigrant” is a powerful and heartfelt track that speaks to the immigrant experience, a theme that will undoubtedly resonate with many listeners.
