John Mahfood takes over from Richard Pandohie as JMEA president

John Mahfood will replace Richard Pandohie as president of the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA), after he was elected at the annual general meeting at the Jamaica Citrus Growers Limited and online on Wednesday.

Mahfood will have Jerome Miles as vice president and Sydney Thwaites as treasurer and all were elected unopposed for their respective position.

Thwaites replaces Clover Moodie while Miles was elected for a second term as vice president.

PANDOHIE SERVED TWO ONE-YEAR TERMS

Pandohie, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Seprod Group of Companies Limited, served two one-year terms as president and he is making way for Mahfood, who is the CEO of Jamaican Teas Company Limited.

Elected to serve as directors are Andrew Wildish, Stephen Dawkins, Christopher Powell, Kareema Muncey and Robert Scott.

Scott, the only newcomer from the previous administration, replaces Steven Sykes.
