The Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS) is congratulating dancehall artiste and long-standing energy ambassador Ding Dong, on the release of his debut album, ‘From Ding Dong to the World‘.
Known for his vibrant personality and positive influence in the entertainment scene, the self-proclaimed ‘King of dance’ has been a valued partner in JPS’ mission to share light, positivity, and progress with communities across the island.
Since the launch of the company’s Shine On campaign on May 2, his involvement has already begun to help JPS connect with Jamaicans in authentic and joyful ways—delivering energy not only through electricity, but also through music, movement, and unity.
Over the years, Ding Dong, born Kemar Ottey, has played a key role in energising communities with his catchy lyrics and iconic dance moves, encouraging Jamaicans to embrace the power of celebration and togetherness.
As energy ambassador, he has supported several impactful initiatives, including promoting the JPS Mobile App and helping to deliver key messages in ways that resonate with customers of all ages.
The media launch for the album, held last Thursday (May 1), was a vibrant showcase of Jamaican creativity and spirit. In attendance was Reshima Kelly Williams, JPS brand marketing manager, who commended Ding Dong for his artistry and consistent support of the JPS brand.

“Ding Dong embodies everything JPS stands for – positivity, progress, and passion. He has helped bring the company’s message of love and light to every corner of Jamaica,’” said Williams. “Watching him shine on stage and share this powerful body of work with the world was truly a proud moment. JPS is honoured to have him as our energy ambassador.”
