

The main Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) index lost ground during trading this week, going down by 1,163.08 points (0.35 per cent) to close at 333,707.63.
Three of the six indices advanced during trading this week with the JSE Select Index advancing by 3.17 points (0.04 per cent) to close at 8,078.28; the JSE Cross Listed Index, up by 0.43 points (0.69 per cent) to close at 63.13 and the JSE Manufacturing & Distribution Index advancing by 1.19 points (1.22 per cent) to close at 98.95.
In addition to the main JSE index, the other declining indices were the JSE All Jamaican Composite Index, which went down by 2,135.79 points (0.57 per cent) to close at 369,575.13 and the JSE Financial Index dropping by 1.32 points (1.72 per cent) to close at 75.37.
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 64 stocks of which 25 advanced, 34 declined and 5 traded firm. Market volume amounted to 44,925,401 units valued at over $224,054,182.00.

1. Wigton Windfarm Limited ordinary shares with 15,379,185 units (34.60 per cent)
2. TransJamaican Highway Limited with 12,195,756 units (27.44%)3. Sagicor Select Funds Limited – Financial with 4,043,182 units (9.10 per cent)
