Member of Parliament, Juliet Holness has been tasked with delivering the keynote address at an International Women’s Conference to be held at Hofstra University in Hempstead, Long Island, New York on Saturday (March 11).
The conference will be held at Nevalliance, a training and development firm run by Dr Neva Helena Alexander.
As the CEO of Nevalliance and a professional speaker, advisor, trainer, and author, Dr Alexander said she is excited about the upcoming conference.
She referred to the one-day seminar as “fascinating” and mentioned Holness as one of the prominent speakers that will be in attendance.
“We are thrilled to have the First Lady of Jamaica, the Most Hon. Juliet Holness, as our keynote speaker,” Dr Alexander said.
Holness told Caribbean Life on Friday (March 3) that she has so much to discuss in her address and is looking forward to participating at the event.
The St Andrew East Rural MP said, “I must be an example for every lady, my approach is to be the best parliamentary representative.”
“I also want to see what are some of the best practices from the conference,” Holness added.
