The Ministry of Justice, through the Legal Aid Council (LAC), is set to host the St James leg of the LAC Justice Fair tomorrow (November 25).
The Justice Fair forms part of the ministry’s initiative to make justice more accessible to Jamaicans while also promoting its Alternative Justice Services, available for Jamaicans to avoid the formal justice system.
Justice Minister Delroy Chuck will bring remarks at the opening ceremony and Conrad Pitkin, custos of St James, will also bring greetings.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend to access justice services offered by the ministry.
Additional services will also be available through other government entities such as Passport, Immigration, Citizenship and Agency, Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Registrar General’s Department and Rural Agricultural Development Authority, among others.
