
American pop superstar Justin Timberlake was arrested in New York on driving while intoxicated (DWI) charges on Monday (June 17).
The incident occurred in Hamptons, Long Islands where he was apprehended by officers on the scene.
ABC News reports “Timberlake drove through a stop sign and swerved into a lane of oncoming traffic at 12:37 am Tuesday, according to Sag Harbor Village police.”
He was pulled over by police after failing to stop and maintain his lane on Madison Street, allegedly operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition, according to ABC.
The ‘Drink You Away‘ singer’s court date is set for today.
On Father’s Day, Timberlake shared on his social media a photo of his two kids with the caption: “My [two] greatest gifts. I learn more about myself every day just because you both chose me to be your Daddy.”
