JUTC bus driver dies after bus crashed in St Catherine

Dwayne Mullings, a Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) driver, died early Wednesday after a bus he was operating crashed into a ditch along Salt Pond Road in St Catherine.

According to the police, around 3:10 am, Mullings was travelling along the road towards Portmore when he lost control of the bus, which veered off the road and ended up in a ditch.

He sustained severe injuries and was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital, where he then succumbed to his injuries.
