Juventus have parted ways with manager Igor Tudor after their latest setback, a loss to Lazio that extended the team’s miserable winless streak to eight games.

Tudor, who took over from Thiago Motta in March, couldn’t stop the slide as Juventus slipped to eighth in Serie A. Sunday’s defeat was their third straight across all competitions, leaving fans frustrated and the board out of patience.

In a short statement, the club thanked Tudor and his staff for their efforts and wished them well moving forward.

Stepping in for now is Massimiliano Brambilla, who will lead the team against Udinese on Wednesday. Juventus sit six points behind league leaders Napoli and have failed to win in their last five Serie A outings.

Their struggles extend to Europe too, with the team stuck near the bottom of their Champions League group after one loss and two draws. It’s been a rough spell in Turin, and the club is desperate for a spark before the season slips away.
