Juwanna Mann sequel now in the works

The American comedy, Juwanna Mann is now in the works.

Miguel Nunez Jr, lead actor in the film who played the role of Juwanna Mann made the big reveal to TMZ.

While Nunez did not reveal many details about the plot and the talents that will be featured in the sequel due to it being in its early stage of development, he noted that NBA superstar Draymond Green is set to play a role in the film.

The film stars American actor Kevin Pollak, American comedian Tommy Davidson, American actress Vivica Fox, American actress and comedian Kim Wayans, American R&B singer Ginuwine and American rapper Lil Kim.

Juwanna Mann was released on June 20th, 2002 is centred on the life of basketball star Jamal Jeffries, who is dropped from his team, Charlotte Beat due to his antics on and off the court.

Jamal’s life then hit a downhill spiral after losing his endorsement deals, his lavish mansion and his girlfriend Tina. The once-basketball superstar then decides to reclaim what was once his by disguising himself as a lady (Juwanna Mann) and joining the female basketball league.

The film was directed by Jesse Vaughn, written by Bradley Allenstein and produced by Bill Gerber.

A release date for the sequel has not yet been announced.
